Alabama Fire Crackers ~

Spicy, no-bake, dairy-free snack crackers that are loaded with bold and spicy flavor, simple to make, and crazy addictive!

Perfect for holidays, game days, and every day!

Mix up a batch and watch them disappear fast!

Alabama Fire Crackers

The name alone makes these fiery bites perfect for the 4th of July but I’m also thinking they would be great served on a snack board at Thanksgiving or to pass out as gifts to teachers and neighbors at Christmas.

The process of making Alabama Fire Crackers couldn’t be easier so you can make a lot with very little effort.

To make this simple snack, saltine crackers are marinated overnight in vegetable oil with dried herbs and seasonings along with what is initially going to seem like entirely too much red pepper but just go with it. Trust the process and you won’t regret it.

The recipe calls for 1 1/2 tablespoons of red pepper flakes and it’s not a typo. The amount specified for red pepper flakes is given correctly and you’ll see that it ends up being just the right amount of heat. I promise.

What to Serve With Fire Crackers

Personally, I can snack on Alabama Fire Crackers straight out the bowl but they’re also excellent paired with soup.

Try these tasty crackers with Vegan Tomato Bisque or Baked Potato Soup.

Can you use a different oil? I don’t like canola or vegetable oil.

Hi Linda ~ I have only used vegetable oil for this recipe. Another oil, such as olive, should work just fine. However, keep in mind this may affect the overall flavor of the crackers.
