Chili dip along with all of its many variations on the theme is a classic fall and winter favorite for good reason: it’s delicious!

Leftover Chili Dip Recipe

If you’ve got leftover chili on hand, this is a great way to repurpose those leftovers into a whole new dish.

No leftover chili? No problem. You can absolutely use canned chili. It’s a very popular option with this recipe and will definitely work in a pinch.

How to Make Chili Dip:

Microwave Method:

STEP ONE: Into a medium-size mixing bowl, add prepared chili, petite diced tomatoes, vegan cream cheese, and diced green chiles. Stir to thoroughly combine. Stir in chili seasoning 1 tablespoon at a time, adding more if needed.

STEP TWO: Microwave on high for 1 minute. Stir the dip and check the temperature.  Continue microwaving in 30-second increments, stirring after each time, until the dip is heated through. (Exact time will vary depending on the microwave used.)

Oven Method:

Want to bake this dip in the oven instead of using the microwave? This method will take a little longer but if you’re not in a rush, go for it! Just mix everything together in an oven-safe dish then bake at 350 degrees F for about 20-25 minutes, until bubbly.

Serve hot.
