I love stuffing! Seriously, I can eat it year-round as a main course.

I mean, it’s bread for dinner. What’s not to love? #ieatcarbs

For everyday dinner, this recipe hits the spot at my house.

Ingredients for Sausage Stuffing:

  • vegan butter
  • plant-based sausage – I use two links of Beyond Meat Hot Italian
  • celery
  • yellow onion
  • dry bread stuffing mix – savory herb blend or sage flavors both work well
  • water

How to make Sausage Stuffing:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Into a large skillet over medium heat, add the vegan butter.

When butter is melted, crumble in the plant-based sausage.

Add celery and onion.

Cook, stirring frequently for about 5 minutes, until sausage is browned and vegetables are softened.

Add stuffing mix and water.

Gently stir to combine. Remove from heat.

Into a 9×9-inch prepared baking dish, add the sausage stuffing mixture.

Bake, uncovered, 20 minutes.

Serve hot.

Cheers!
