Easy Sausage Stuffing ~

This savory classic Thanksgiving side dish is ready to serve in about 30 minutes.
I love stuffing! Seriously, I can eat it year-round as a main course.

For everyday dinner, this recipe hits the spot at my house.
Ingredients for Sausage Stuffing:
- vegan butter
- plant-based sausage – I use two links of Beyond Meat Hot Italian
- celery
- yellow onion
- dry bread stuffing mix – savory herb blend or sage flavors both work well
- water
How to make Sausage Stuffing:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Into a large skillet over medium heat, add the vegan butter.
When butter is melted, crumble in the plant-based sausage.
Add celery and onion.
Cook, stirring frequently for about 5 minutes, until sausage is browned and vegetables are softened.
Add stuffing mix and water.
Gently stir to combine. Remove from heat.
Into a 9×9-inch prepared baking dish, add the sausage stuffing mixture.
Bake, uncovered, 20 minutes.
Serve hot.
