Ingredients for Tomatillo Salsa Verde

  • 2 tomatillos, diced with husks removed
  • 2 tablespoons red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, leaves and stems chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, finely diced
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

How to make Tomatillo Salsa:

STEP ONE: Into a medium-size mixing bowl, add the tomatillos, red onion, cilantro, garlic, jalapeno peppers, lime juice, and sea salt. Stir gently to combine.

STEP TWO: Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

STEP THREE: Serve chilled or room temperature.
