Can I use a different type of pasta?

Sure, go for it! My personal preference is ditalini although any similarly small pasta shape will work.

Can I make this in advance?

Yes! This pasta salad can can be made a day ahead then stored covered, in the refrigerator.

Helpful Tools and Equipment:

Colander – I like that this one has tiny holes; good for rice as well as pasta.

Mixing bowl – I love the pretty colors of this lidded set.

Serving bowl – This is a good all-purpose bowl in a classic style.

This recipe was a hit for my sister and grandson’s birthday. I always used miracle whip (salad dressing) in my coleslaw and macaroni salads before I changed my eating habits. I found a vegan recipe for miracle whip on the internet and have been using it since. This recipe is a new to go one for me.

Wow! I’ve never been that fond of pasta salads but my daughter was over and she loves them. So, we tried this and I have to say that I think it’s changed my mind forever. The flavour and textures were really lovely. Thank I’ll be eating this again and soon!
