With no roasting required, this chunky tomatillo salsa is ready to serve in minutes. However, if you have time to let it hang out in the fridge for a bit, your patience will be rewarded.

Ingredients for Tomatillo Salsa Verde
- 2 tomatillos, diced with husks removed
- 2 tablespoons red onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons cilantro, leaves and stems chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jalapeno pepper, finely diced
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1/4 teaspoon sea salt
How to make Tomatillo Salsa:
Into a medium-size mixing bowl, add the tomatillos, red onion, cilantro, garlic, jalapeno peppers, lime juice, and sea salt.
Stir gently to combine.
Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
Serve chilled or room temperature.
