3-Ingredient Vegan Chocolate Popsicles
These popsicles received two-thumbs up from the kids.
And there’s even a secret, high protein ingredient!
With our pretty yellow daffodils popping up in the front yard, it’s finally beginning to feel like spring around here and we’re celebrating with these super quick and easy treats!
These popsicles received two-thumbs up from my dessert-loving 6-year old and they even have a secret, high protein ingredient – tofu.
That’s right; tofu.
And no, you won’t even know its in there.
Seriously.
This recipe is definitely a keeper in our house. She went through these popsicles in record time!
“They’re really good, mama!”
Ingredients for Vegan Chocolate Popsicles:
- vanilla-flavored almond milk
- vegan semisweet chocolate chips
- silken tofu
How to make Vegan Chocolate Popsicles:
To a high-speed blender, add vanilla-flavored almond milk, vegan semisweet chocolate chips, and silken tofu.
Blend until consistency is very smooth.
Pour into popsicle molds and freeze until set.
Can I use a different type of milk?
Technically, yes but… if you decide to try a different milk other than the vanilla flavored almond milk called for in the recipe, just understand that it will affect the flavor.
I prefer the subtle addition of vanilla in the almond milk and think it adds a nice richness to the popsicles
However, I do think coconut milk could also work well here.
I mean, if you’re a fan of chocolate and coconut together then, sure, why not? 🙂
Cheers!
