Holiday Cranberry Dip with Stella Blue Cheese

The holidays are busy enough so today’s post is featuring a super easy and tasty appetizer/snack you can throw together in five minutes! Seriously.

I’m using Stella Blue Cheese in this dip for its tangy flavor and semi-soft texture and serving it with water crackers, just to keep it simple. Grapes, sweet red apples, or a thinly sliced baguette would also pair well.

My recommendation is to use this recipe as a base and then create your own flavor combinations to suit the occasion.

For example, I always have dried cranberries on hand this time of year so that’s what I went with but if you have any cranberry sauce leftover from Thanksgiving, that would be even better, I think.

Chopped walnuts would also be a nice touch. Oooh, and maybe a pinch of fresh rosemary!

Want to go a more savory route? Add a clove of minced garlic and a few dashes of cayenne pepper or buffalo sauce perfect for Game Day!

  1. Add blue cheese, cream cheese, and sour cream ingredients to a medium bowl.
  2. Mix and mash with a fork to desired consistency.
  3. Fold in cranberries.
  4. Serve right away or store in refrigerator.
