Easy Vegan Royal Icing

  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 3 teaspoons water
  • 2 teaspoons light corn syrup
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract


  • Into a medium size mixing bowl stir together confectioners' sugar and water.
  • Add light corn syrup and almond extract. Continue mixing until all ingredients are incorporated. Icing will be thick.
  • If using food coloring, add a few drops at a time, mixing well after each addition until desired color is achieved.
