  • 4 links vegan sausage sliced into 1/2-inch rounds
  • 1 tablespoon vegan butter
  • 1/4 cup yellow onion diced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic minced
  • 4 cups green cabbage rough chopped
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper

  • Set a large skillet over medium-high heat. When hot, add the sliced sausages in an even layer. Cook for 4 minutes, until browned on each side, turning the sausage slices halfway during the cooking time. Remove the sausages from the skillet and set them aside. Do not wipe out the skillet.
  • Into the skillet, add the butter. When the butter is melted, add the onion. Cook for 2 minutes, until softened.
  • Add the garlic and continue cooking for an additional 30 seconds.
  • Add cabbage, salt, and pepper.
  • Reduce heat to medium then cover and cook for 3 minutes, until cabbage is wilted.
  • Stir in the cooked sausage. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.
