Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil or avocado oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 4 cups sourdough bread cut into 1-inch cubes

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper for easy clean-up.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the olive oil, garlic powder, thyme, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Add the cubed sourdough and toss to coat. Adjust seasoning to taste.
  • Spread the coated sourdough bread cubes onto the prepared baking sheet in a single layer. Bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring halfway through the cooking time, until the croutons are golden brown.
