- 8 ounces plain cream cheese room temperature
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley finely chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh dill finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
- 4 slices whole wheat sandwich bread
- 1 cup English cucumber cut into thin slices and patted dry
In a medium bowl, stir together the cream cheese, parsley, dill, black pepper, and seasoned salt. Adjust seasoning to taste and set aside.
Place the slices of bread onto a cutting board. Generously spread each slice of bread with the cream cheese mixture.
Arrange the cucumber slices over 2 slices of bread to cover the cream cheese spread.
Top with the remaining bread slices, cream cheese side down.
Use a serrated knife to cut into halves or quarters and serve immediately.
