Ingredients

  • 8 ounces plain cream cheese room temperature
  • ​1/4 cup fresh parsley finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 4 slices whole wheat sandwich bread
  • 1 cup English cucumber cut into thin slices and patted dry

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, stir together the cream cheese, parsley, dill, black pepper, and seasoned salt. Adjust seasoning to taste and set aside.
  • Place the slices of bread onto a cutting board. Generously spread each slice of bread with the cream cheese mixture.
  • Arrange the cucumber slices over 2 slices of bread to cover the cream cheese spread.
  • Top with the remaining bread slices, cream cheese side down.
  • Use a serrated knife to cut into halves or quarters and serve immediately.
