- 2 15-ounce cans black beans, rinsed and drained
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
- 2 teaspoons garlic minced
- 1 1/2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 2 tablespoons cilantro finely chopped
In the bowl of a food processor, combine the black beans, lime juice, and garlic. Puree until the beans reach your desired level of consistency. Transfer to a serving bowl
Stir in the taco seasoning and cilantro.
Adjust seasoning to taste. Garnish with extra cilantro and serve at room temperature or refrigerate to serve cold later.
