- 1 pound thin green beans trimmed
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon garlic minced
- 1/8 teaspoon lemon pepper
Place green beans in a large skillet in a single layer and fill with just enough cold water to cover. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low. Simmer 3-5 minutes, until the green beans are crisp-tender. (Cooking time may vary slightly depending on whether you prefer a softer or crispier bean. An easy way to check is to take a little bite.) Drain the beans in a colander.
While the beans are draining, add butter to the skillet. When the butter is melted, add the green beans. Cook for 1 minute, tossing to coat the beans with butter.
Add the minced garlic and lemon pepper. Continue cooking for an additional 1 minute.
Adjust seasoning to taste and serve hot.
