- 1/2 cup vegan butter softened
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour cooked, if desired
- 1/4 cup oat milk or other mild-flavored plant milk such as unsweetened almond
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips dairy-free
In a large bowl, use a hand mixer to cream the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
Add the vanilla extract, salt, flour, and milk. Mix again to incorporate.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Adjust consistency to taste. Adding additional milk will thin the frosting while extra flour will thicken it. Spread on your dessert of choice and serve.
