Ingredients

  • 14 ounces extra-firm tofu pressed
  • 1/2 cup refined coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons super agar powder
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 teaspoon white vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano

Instructions

  • Into a food processor, add the tofu, coconut oil, water, super agar powder, lemon juice, olive oil, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, basil, vinegar, and oregano. Blend until the consistency is smooth.
  • Into a medium-size saucepan over medium heat, add the entire mixture. Bring to a simmer then continue cooking for 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Pour into a medium-size glass bowl. Allow the vegan feta to sit at room temperature until completely cooled.
