- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 cup long grain white rice uncooked
- 2 teaspoons garlic minced
- 4 cups broccoli florets finely chopped
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
Add olive oil to a large saucepan over medium heat. When the oil is hot, add the rice and cook for 1 minute, stirring to coat. Add the garlic and continue cooking for an additional 1 minute.
Add the broccoli, water, and seasoned salt. Stir just gently enough to combine. Bring to a boil then reduce the heat to low.
Cover and simmer for 20 minutes or until the rice is tender. Fluff with a fork, adjust seasoning to taste, and serve hot.
