Preheat the oven to 375°F. Spray an 8x8-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray; set aside.
Into a large bowl, add the sliced apples and cranberries. Add the water, lemon juice, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Toss to coat.
Spread the fruit mixture in the prepared baking dish.
Into the bowl, add the oats, butter, flour, sugar, cinnamon, molasses, and salt. Combine the ingredients until they reach a crumbly texture.
Spread the crumb mixture evenly over the top of the fruit.
Bake for 30 minutes, until golden and bubbly.
Set aside to cool for at least 10 minutes. Serve warm or chilled.
